We need more evolution denialism in public schools, so kids can learn from their science teachers that science is their enemy. Otherwise, kids will still keep getting vaccinated to prevent the diseases god sends to punish us. /sarc

The VATICAN has no objection to this practice, though they do encourage the development of alternatives:

Some vaccine components have been derived from human fetuses. The abortions were not conducted for the purpose of vaccine discovery or vaccine production. Additional abortions are not needed for the production of these vaccines. In the case of rubella vaccine, abortions are prevented by the use of the vaccine.
A recent report from the Pontifical Academy for Life at the Vatican encourages pharmaceutical companies to seek alternatives to the development of vaccines linked with human fetuses, given the Catholic Church’s objections to cooperating with abortion. The report also points out that in the absence of an alternative, these vaccines may be utilized “to avoid a serious risk not only for one’s own children but also, and more specifically, for the health conditions of the population as a whole – especially for pregnant women.” The Vatican Academy also noted that “the parents who did not accept the vaccination of their own children become responsible for the malformations [due to rubella infection] in question.”(emphasis added)

Anti-vaxxers will latch on to anything, no matter how preposterous or outrageous or verifiably false to claim that vaccines are wrong, cause injuries, and should not be used.

All the while, the real cost of a falling vaccination rate is the very spread of preventable diseases like whooping cough in many parts of the US, including Long Island. Those most at risk include those who are too young to get the shots and those whose immunities are compromised because of illness.

Also, as I understand it "fetuses" are aborted, "embryos" are donated--no?
